Welcome to another year of organic musings. This is the end of the tenth year of writing PoextS. A lot has gone on in the world. A lot has gone on with me. And probably a lot has gone on with you and yours as well.
I write to release. I never know where the start of a PoextS will originate or how it is going to end. I write to release. Sometimes a week may go by, and nothing appears and sometimes I write five or six in a single day. I write to release.
I started writing PoextS two months after being released from the psychiatric ward where I spent two weeks in lock down for suicidal tendencies. I believe my writings demonstrate the struggle I have had with depression over these ten years. I write to release.
I hope there are some words that resonate with each and every one of you.

After a while I began to draw an accompanying picture that I felt came from out of the words or I added a color border and theme. Over time I have had many say that they enjoyed these colorful expressions, and so I decided to put a book out to include the words with the illustrations. This is my Fourth Edition.
