Have a loved one with DEPRESSION?
Jeff Johnston has written seventeen books of poetry. Many of his words have been the therapy which he himself used to calm his mind, body and spirit. Over the last seven years he has been coping with and attempting to alleviate his Clinical Depression, Mood Swings and Anxiety Attacks. During the course of his experience he has come across others, who in describing a situation with a loved one, found they were speaking of Depression. After hearing many stories of what some people tried to do and not to do, all with love in their minds, he decided to maybe explain it from the patient's viewpoint. In his latest book, “Yes You Can Help But Not That Way!” he is sharing his own thoughts on this subject matter, something he has had firsthand experience with.
He hopes it may help you and yours.

"EVERYONE NEEDS THIS BOOK!: This book is simple, direct, and starts an amazing conversation that needs to be happening all around us. The only thing I would add is a note that people could write on the blank pages how they like and dislike being helped... continue this conversation with our loved ones, neighbors, friends, coworkers. I'm getting a bunch for my coworkers in a human services agency!
Exceptional work Jeff... just exceptional!"

"VERY INFORMATIVE: I really enjoyed this book as I completely understand the emotion behind it. It is a great thing to give to your loved ones to help them understand depression and anxiety. It has great tips on what to do and more importantly what NOT to do or say. This was a great read for my husband to be able to understand me a little better. I highly recommend it for your loved ones if you experience depression and anxiety."

"CONCISE AND DIRECT. AN EASY PATH DEALING WITH SOMEONE WITH DEPRESSION: I am not sure I will truly understand depression ever, but the direct statements in this book help me better to understand what I may personally feel and act when with someone suffering with depression."

"SHORT AND TO THE POINT: Short and to the point. Knowing Jeff for several years and also having anxiety and depression myself I’ve used Jeff to cope at times. Jeff is a smart guy that is very punctual which is why we got a long so we’ll even though we have many differing opinions.
Thanks Jeff!"

In my eleven years of dealing with DEPRESSION and ANXIETY, this book by MATT HAIG,
REASONS TO STAY ALIVE
best describes what "our" life is about.
Highly recommend reading if you are pained with DEPRESSION or know someone who is.
Educate yourself...please.
